The last week leading up to my departure has been a little crazy.

Monday – Tuesday we went to Vermont for a work event for Jeff. Trying to maximize my time with him before I leave, I decided to go with and work remote. We got back late Tuesday night and then both were frantically packing, finishing emails and cooking dinner around 10pm.

The next morning he headed to DC and I took my morning calls and then headed out to Minnesota. Our good friend was getting married Friday and the rehearsal dinner was that Wednesday. Jeff met me Thursday morning and then we celebrated his birthday with my parents at 112 eatery. (Highly recommend! Everything was pretty bomb. Even the side of kale!)

Friday was the wedding and of course it being Trina and BJs wedding it was prettyyyyy litty.

We barely slept all night and then woke up Saturday at 640am to head to SF.

SF was short but sweet. We had a really nice lunch in Sausalito with Jeffs family on Saturday and then met our friends for dinner in the city that night. Sunday, Jeff and I had our last little walk together for a while around Mill City and then we helped the fam prep for his grandpas 90th birthday. (man is still lucid as ever, it’s insane).

Jeffs sister did an amazing job planning and we had like 25 people over with a caterer, photographer, old videos and photos. Very sweet and was lovely to see everyone!

It’s also our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY as MATTHSUS! I love you boo. Thank you for supporting this goal of mine!

Now I’m on a red eye to Newark 😳.

Last day of work and then I need to pack and catch my red eye to Paris!
